On Saturday, September 16th, twelve out of fifteen City Councillors voted to adopt the Housing Affordability Task Force’s recommendations. They voted to support housing affordability in our city because they heard from Calgarians like you who demanded that they take action.

Now, we need to thank them for taking the first step towards addressing Calgary’s housing affordability crisis and remind them that Calgarians overwhelmingly support these recommendations. We know that they’ll be receiving letters from Calgarians opposed to neighbourhood change and we need to make sure they hear from us as well.

This is only the first step in addressing housing affordability, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Join us in thanking the Councillors who took action and voted to support housing affordability in our city.
